Wasing Park, the nationally renowned luxury wedding venue nestled in the Berkshire countryside, is delighted to announce it has been named the UK's Most Desirable Wedding Venue by Bridebook, the world’s number one wedding planning platform.

The accolade sees Wasing Park top a shortlist of 25 of the UK's leading wedding venues, having received the most enquiries across Bridebook over the past year.

Set within a beautifully restored farm hamlet in the Berkshire countryside, just an hour from London and surrounded by 4,000 acres of pristine woodland and parkland, Wasing Park is one of the UK's most prestigious exclusive-use wedding venues, renowned for blending sustainability with timeless elegance.

The recognition reflects Wasing Park's continued commitment to creating exceptional, deeply personal celebrations in a setting that is both exclusive and effortlessly connected to nature. Whether couples are planning an intimate gathering, a one-day celebration or choosing to extend their wedding into a bespoke two or three-day experience, every celebration is thoughtfully tailored to reflect their vision.

Lisa Buffery, Head of Wasing Park, says:

We’re incredibly proud to receive this recognition from such a leading voice in the wedding industry. Our focus has always been on creating exceptional celebrations that are both elegant and considered, while remaining closely connected to nature. It’s an honour to help shape each celebration here at Wasing, and this recognition is a testament to the passion and dedication of our wonderful team. We look forward to welcoming many more couples to the Estate for one of life’s most special occasions.

At the heart of Wasing Park is the magnificent Grade II-listed Castle Barn, a characterful reception space with soft red brick walls, oak beams and arrow slits, welcoming up to 160 guests for dining and 250 for evening celebrations. Couples can choose from three stunning ceremony spaces, each offering its own unique charm: the newly renovated Garden Room, where rustic oak beams, warm aged brickwork and sandstone floors frame breathtaking views across the tranquil gardens; the Victorian Summerhouse, an idyllic outdoor setting nestled amidst nature and adorned with an intricate hand-painted mural, both accommodating up to 160 guests; or the charming 13th-century Parish Church of St Nicholas, where beautiful stained-glass windows and a sunlit altar provide a timeless backdrop for traditional ceremonies of up to 120 guests.

The venue offers 26 stylishly appointed bedrooms, sleeping 64 guests, alongside Kitts Cottage and Home Farmhouse for extended stays. For those wishing to create a destination feel within the UK, Wasing Park also offers bespoke 2-to-3-day wedding experiences, with a host of unique activities from welcome dinners and lakeside yoga to enchanting moonlit performances set amidst the Estate’s stunning grounds. Think garden games and Pimm’s-filled picnics in the woodlands, or even a family-and-friends cricket match at Wasing’s Cricket Pavilion, all providing the perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories.

Sustainability lies at the heart of Wasing Park, shaping celebrations that feel both elegant and deeply connected to the land. From exquisite nose-to-tail menus featuring beef from the Estate’s organic farm to  the biomass heating system powered by wood chips from its own woodland, every detail is considered. Even wedding favours reflect this ethos. Couples can delight their guests with charming mini bottles of award-winning Wasing Gin, sweet jars of Wasing Honey harvested from the estate’s own hives or delicate candles made from wax gathered onsite.

As part of its bespoke offering, couples can also enjoy exclusive access to Wasing’s secluded woodland lake, with tailored experiences including wild swimming, wood-fired sauna, ice baths, massage therapy and lakeside catering, offering couples and their guests the opportunity to fully decompress and enjoy moments of calm before or after their big day.

This latest recognition by Bridebook further cements Wasing Park’s position as one of the UK’s leading luxury wedding destinations, offering couples an exclusive-use venue where every celebration is uniquely tailored and set against one of the country’s most beautiful natural backdrops.
